I highly recommend Mr. Simms for your home inspection needs. He was very thorough and explained everything in the inspection report to me and my husband. M. Boyle I have known Brian for about 20 years, and knew him to be a very intelligent and creative person. At the time of Brian transitioning to this line of work, I had no need for a home inspector. But, less than 6 weeks later, my wife and I considered buying a new home for ourselves. I had my home inspector, though I was aware of two more... Brian was my choice. His honesty, directness and smarts were already known to me. Brian came to inspect the home we had in mind very promptly. He started on the outside and was on the roof in no time. He found a few minor things that needed attention. But, he uncovered a deal breaker! He was professional about the discovery, not letting the listing agent be privy to our conversation. And, my wife and I called off the deal. Another home inspector may have found the same thing, but my comfort with Brian just increased by the manner of his behavior. Brian recently inspected a home for me and did an excellent job. He provided a sixty page detailed report. He spent the entire day inspecting the home. I have had home inspections before but none as detailed as his inspections. I did not purchase the home due to the problems found in the home inspection (roof ,plumbing, etc.) Brian did an excellent job. The next inspection I need I will be giving Brian a call.
